Project summary
Zhongbo supplied 0.8 mm hot-dip galvanized steel wire with 320–500 MPa tensile strength and a confirmed zinc-coating range of 25–140 g/m² to an African cable and energy solutions manufacturer. The cooperation included technical requirement review, sample supply and initial purchasing.
Technical requirement
Fine-diameter galvanized steel wire requires careful control of wire size, coating uniformity, mechanical behaviour, surface quality and winding condition. The 0.8 mm project review covered nominal diameter and tolerance, tensile strength of 320–500 MPa, a zinc-coating range of 25–140 g/m² and adhesion, surface appearance, coil configuration, packing and the customer-required quality documents.
Qualification & supply process
The project progressed through customer requirement review, confirmation of the 0.8 mm diameter, technical and packing communication, sample production and supply for buyer evaluation, and initial purchasing. For a fine-diameter product, stable drawing, galvanizing and winding control help reduce avoidable variation during customer-side processing.
Measurable result
The documented cooperation advanced from specification review to sample supply and initial purchasing for a 0.8 mm product with 320–500 MPa tensile strength and a 25–140 g/m² zinc-coating range. Repeat-order count, tonnage and delivery figures are not published until supporting internal records are checked.
