Project summary
Zhongbo supplied 1.25 mm hot-dip galvanized steel wire with tensile strength of at least 295 MPa and 175 g/m² zinc coating to a France-based cable systems manufacturer for cable-production use. The project required a customer-specific production and inspection route focused on repeatable diameter control, mechanical performance, coating consistency, surface condition and coil presentation.
Customer requirement
For a 1.25 mm cable-production input, stable diameter and winding condition matter because the wire must pass through downstream manufacturing equipment without avoidable variation. The order review covered diameter and tolerance, tensile strength of at least 295 MPa, zinc-coating mass of 175 g/m² and adhesion, surface quality, coil configuration, packing and quality documentation.
Production & inspection approach
Zhongbo established a controlled production route for the 1.25 mm requirement: review of the customer specification, production-parameter confirmation, wire drawing and galvanizing, in-process diameter checks, final mechanical and coating inspection, coil-condition review, and preparation of the agreed quality documents.
Outcome
The project demonstrates Zhongbo’s ability to manufacture and supply customer-specific 1.25 mm galvanized steel wire with ≥295 MPa tensile strength and 175 g/m² zinc coating for a European cable-production environment. Exact tonnage, order count, delivery period and claim history are intentionally not published until verified from internal documents.
