Tensile Strength
The confirmed target tensile range is about 290–550 MPa (soft annealed), with elongation or forming behaviour controlled to the order. A soft annealed grade should feed and knit without brittle breaks, while excessive softness can reduce process stability — so the acceptance range is set from our furnace recipe and drawing reduction for each diameter.
Features
- Bright, comparatively scale-free surface after protective-atmosphere annealing
- Soft, formable condition for knitting and subsequent compression
- Fine-diameter consistency for stable loop formation and mesh density
- Controlled spool winding for continuous high-speed conversion
- Oil-free or lightly protected surface options where technically feasible
- Batch test records and samples for converter qualification
Packaging & Shipping
Fine wire is layer-wound or otherwise packed to prevent tangles, crushing and loose ends. We specify spool material, flange dimensions, bore, net weight, winding direction and surface-protection method, and state any anti-rust oil type and amount only after you accept it.
- Precision plastic, steel or wooden spools
- Small protected coils for manual or low-volume conversion
- Moisture-barrier cartons or crates on pallets
- Customer-defined returnable reels
Use cases
- Knitted wire mesh for exhaust-muffler damping or filtration elements
- Fine-wire pads and compressed knitted components
- Customer-qualified inflator-filter media or related assemblies
- Industrial knitted-mesh products with equivalent cleanliness and formability needs
Who it is for
Knitted-wire-mesh producers, exhaust-system suppliers, filtration-component converters and automotive Tier suppliers that qualify fine annealed wire by process and finished-component tests.
Standards, certificates & inspection
Your drawing, cleanliness requirement, tensile/elongation limits and approved sample control; general wire test methods support the plan but do not by themselves establish automotive suitability. We name IATF, OEM, airbag-safety, oil-free or specific furnace-atmosphere claims only where they are verified. Every batch is produced under an ISO 9001 quality management system and can ship with a mill test certificate covering diameter, tensile strength and zinc-coating weight. Third-party or pre-shipment inspection (SGS, BV or customer-appointed) is available on request.
See test reports & inspection and quality control & testing for the full documentation.
Frequently asked questions
Is this wire an airbag component?
No — it is wire feedstock that may be converted into a customer-qualified filter or knitted component. Final safety-system use requires your validation.
Can it be supplied oil-free?
Possibly, subject to corrosion risk, handling and packing; residual lubricant, cleanliness test and storage conditions are agreed before quoting.
Which spool sizes are available?
We confirm an approved spool list against your reel drawing and target net weight.
Can you provide a trial lot?
Yes, after confirming diameter, mechanical grade, surface condition, spool and acceptance tests.
