Flat wire is a special-section product, so we present it by width × thickness and an approved drawing rather than a single diameter — a flat section is never described as a “diameter.” Buyers get width, thickness, corner/edge condition, independent width and thickness tolerances, camber, twist, tensile strength, coating and spool details. Where we produce flat wire by rolling round wire, the final section and mechanical properties are controlled after flattening, and we confirm the exact size matrix, tensile grade and surface (galvanized, copper-coated or bright) with your quotation rather than claiming every benchmark size and finish up front.

Tensile strength is published for the finished flat wire, because rolling can change the mechanical properties of the starting round wire. A broad range is divided into practical grades, and where you form staples or clips we add bend/forming performance or an approved machine trial so the grade is proven on the finished section.

A flat section is specified by width × thickness, never as a diameter. Every batch is produced under an ISO 9001 quality management system and can ship with a mill test certificate covering diameter, tensile strength and zinc-coating weight. Third-party or pre-shipment inspection (SGS, BV or customer-appointed) is available on request.
